Matt Griffin is an adjunct faculty member with the School of Design where he teaches Letterpress in the Digital World, as well as the hands-on seminar course, Digital Pre-Press. He is a graphic designer with an interest in fine typography and creative letterpress printing. He also believes strongly in the designer’s ability to improve user experience, both in print and on the Web, through clear information design and the development of human-centric interfaces.
Griffin is co-owner of the web development and graphic design practice Bearded Studio. Before founding Bearded Studio, Griffin worked as a designer at Mizrahi, located in downtown Pittsburgh, and at Indiana University’s Office of Creative Service.
