Hello! I’m a human-centered designer who revels in untangling complexity. I got my first taste of field work in 2007 when I traveled to Ecuador to learn from Secoya communities. I have been studying the intersection of people, materials, and environments ever since. After completing a Bachelors degree in Anthropology and working in the start-up industry, I began to see connections between Design and Anthropology. I returned to school to continue exploring and expanding these intersections, which are at the root of human-centered design. I am passionate about designing 'what if' rather than 'what is,' and believe design should start with questions.
